Despite the recent ice and snow, are you starting to feel that Spring Fever?
It might be intensified this week due to the New Moon that was on Sunday the 15th. Good news; Mercury is finally direct too!
I find that during those first few days of the new moon, I reaaaally feel that New Beginnings vibe! I start new projects. I'm more willing to try new things. I may be so bold to say I feel more creative during this time.
Here in upstate New York, we're just starting to see the day staying brighter longer. Although, we've had some ice this past weekend and strong winds again, but most of the snow is gone! Most notable, the Geese are back from their southern migration.
All these things and more are signifying Spring to me in a BIG way. Our first New Moon this season is giving me ALL the feels. Time to check back in with my goals, my needs and recommit.
I'm recommitting to my daily practices.
I'm recommitting to "Ease" & "Flow".
I'm recommitting to my authentic self.
I'm feeling a bit of a re-birth as the spring flowers start to peak up through the dirt. The sunshine peaking through the clouds, kissing my face and I'm ready.
Spring is a beautiful time to check back in with what you want your year to FEEL like.
Think about those goals, feelings, etc. that you want to harvest later in the year. In order to get there, what do you have to plant now?
If I want to be able to do a split, I better start committing to a daily yoga practice! If I wanted to run a 5K, I would start working on my running plans.
Think about the 'end game', the 5K or splits, as the harvest and our daily practice as nurturing the seedling so it grows.
YOU are the seedling.
You choose what you are planting and how well you "water" yourself daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
Want to add some fertilizer to your planting?
Those New Moon vibes are great for planting your dreams.
If you work on your plan and begin your commitment between the New Moon and the Full moon, you're working with the natural cycle of growth. Think about it! That little crescent moon gets bigger and bigger until it's Full again. Putting your intentions out there during this time frame may help you tap into those new beginnings vibes!
So, What are you growing?
