It's been a while since we've had one of these and there is SOOO much out there to be shared.
This time around it's all about mindset and success. Are you ready to dive into some good stuff?!
Grab a cup of you favorite hot beverage and get down to some good reading!
The Seven Secrets of Success
There are many stories shared in the Hindu traditions that provide helpful knowledge on how to attain enlightenment. While rooting around the internet one day I stumbled upon the Sivana East website, whose blog posts range from yoga ideas to mindfulness and meditation. This week I ran into Shiva's Seven Secrets of Success.
3 Mindsets that are Damaging Your Well-Being
This one's a little bit of a tougher read because you may find some of these mindsets in yourself. The first step in any change is to recognize it happening. This blog post by the lovely Wholeheartedly Laura skims the surface of these mindsets; especially the body stories! (If you are interested in re-working those body stories but are not sure where to start check-out our online course, Elemental Body Stories!)
"I love my biz, but hate asking for money."
THIS! Any other entrepreneurs have a hard time with this? For a lot of us our mindset on money is limited to a "lack" mentality. As we work through our money blocks the stories often go that money seems to flow abundantly to you. Anyone else having a hard time here?
Measuring Success as a Writer or Artist: A Basic Guide to Happiness
Sometimes is just about how you define success. Though this article is written from an artist, writer, creative profession I believe no matter what we do success is really what you decide. I also really enjoy how this author explains that money shouldn't be an ideal, but rather a tool. Does this ring true for you as well?
Have You Failed Lately? Thoughts On Growth And Challenge In Belly Dance
Along the same lines; if you're in a creative profession, or really any hobby/job, how often are you "failing"? We learn so much more by that "failure" than the "good job" points from just getting it done. Try new things. Fail. Learn. Create more.
Hoping one or two of these sparked something within you.
I'd love to chat about it if you want to leave a comment below.

What's up gang?
Here's another Friday Faves coming your way!
Why? Because there are soooo many awesome people blogging these days. Because I LOVE to share the love. Because I enjoyed these articles/blogs/etc. and thought you might too. ;)
First up! Did you know Mercury is once again in Retrograde?
I'm mixing it up this week. I really wanted to share with you some recipes, events, and articles that have caught my attention this week so prepare yourself for a million links... in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1:
First off this awesome cookie cake recipe from Fannetastic Food. I adore Anne's blog and have made several of her recipes in the past. I made the cookie cake for a birthday party last Saturday.
Another food related item; I've made at least 3 batches of these black bean brownies in the last week for the same birthday party and 4th of July celebrations! Don't Waste The Crumbs has some awesome DIY Natural Living ideas to check out too.
Switching gears, I'm super excited to be part of the next set of "Bitchcraft" classes taught by Veronica Varlow. I really enjoyed the last set of classes and the private Facebook group is so supportive! Veronica is also donating 10% of each sign-up for this session to The Transgener Legal Defence & Education Fund.
Danielle Laporte everyone...
P.S. I just bought her book White Hot Truth. Don't spoil anything, but do you love it? <3
Self body image and bathing suit season?
I think we could all use a little self love talk concerning this subject.
I'll wrap up this link party, with one to horoscope.com. Anyone else addicted to their Daily Tarot Reading? <3
