Below are 5 easy ways you can enhance your yoga practice when you need a little inspiration or new pep in your yoga step!
1. Take your mat outside.
With the weather finally warming up in central New York, a change of location is definitely what the doctor ordered. Gift yourself some vitamin D, a beautiful view and greet the sun on the horizon.
Don't want to "muddy up" your mat? Warm up with a walk around your local park and try some standing poses. Warrior 1 or 2 anyone?
Every Spring, and Autumn, we mark the changing of the season during what is known as the "Equinox". Vernal or Autumnal to be exact.
While we passed the Spring Equinox back on March 20th, we are just starting to see the signs of Spring in upstate NY. Now that we're in May we're hoping we won't be seeing any more snow showers!
Along with that spring new growth/re-birth feeling, I think it's important to also notice the equinox, meaning equal day and night.
It's a time to remember that finding balance in life is key!
