First up, It's been a while and a whirlwind. So much has been happening in my day to day that I haven't been able to keep up a regular blog schedule; which should be a reminder to check in with my priorities/goals before I became overwhelmed! Needless to say the Universe replays messages until we get them and if we learn to lean into the seasons we're about to learn how good it feels to let go of things just like the leaves on the trees. Sitting with the Seasons is a concept I've been toying with for some time. Autumn is such a good example of this concept. I'm all about feeling the vibes of the seasons and Fall is about letting go. We often know we should let go of things when they no fit, are useful, etc. However, I find it's often the memories associated with that thing/pattern that we have a hard time releasing. This is where the trees can teach us a thing or two. There may come a point where holding on to those things are no longer helping us. When the days get shorter and darker, it takes a lot more energy for the trees to support every leaf. It's often better to let go and support the root and trunk of the tree until weather conditions improve again. Thus we see the leaves turning orange, red and brown; then eventually letting go entirely. As a result autumn is often associated with death within a life cycle. Before we freak out, keep in mind that if you pull the "Death" tarot card, it is often the end of a pattern/cycle and a chance to create or move into something new. Even more exciting we're moving into Scorpio season which will give an intensity boost for creating all those new patterns/changes we want to see in our lives. It's a time to begin to review our yearly goals as we approach the last three months of the year--and this decade! Better yet, review how you feel on an overall daily basis and start creating a new pattern to bring that intensity into 2020.
What do you want your next 10 years to look like? What do you want your next year to look like? What goals do you have for the rest of this year? Then make a plan. Stick with it and cut out anything that doesn't fall into those goals. Let go of what no longer serves you. We got this. <3 - Jenn Rose (Pumpkin Magic photo by yours truly.
