Happy Fall, ya'll!! I'm just getting back into the swing of things after my New Orleans trip; a little bit of leisure AND business (More on that in a later post!). We got back just in time for peak leaf colors! Autumn is my favorite time of year, by far. I love the balance we get with warmer days and cooler nights. All the layering and coziness that comes with tall boots, leggings, scarves and hoodies. I celebrated the first day of Fall on Saturday instead of the 22nd, Friday, which was the actual first day. I made sure to get out in nature and get in a small hike around the local woods. Check out some of these photos! I also happened upon two toads, several birds and a few chipmunks. Finished up the day with a lovely bonfire and singing--because what else do you do around a fire?! I also added in some cinnamon sticks for a fun fall scent as it burned. I kept it pretty low key this year, but a few others I know made it out to an apple orchard and baked.
Did you celebrate and if so how did you celebrate the start of fall? Autumn Blessings, Jenn Rose |
