Raise your hands. You know who you are. I am too. ;) I've tried to give it up before and it's so hard! Then I decided it's one of life's little pleasures, so why not? I'm sure you know one or two Coffee Addicts on your gift list. Below are some fun and funky ideas that will inspire your recipient. I've included a range of options per your budget, plus a bonus DIY idea at the end of this post. The Show Stopper: Chemex Pour Over My kingdom for a pour over! You've probably seen these at your local coffee shop. I've even heard of some places turning this method into entertainment and educational coffee shop workshops! The basic idea of a pour over includes letting the hot water steep in the coffee grounds while the freshly brewed coffee drips down into the second chamber. It takes some time for the coffee to brew, but I've heard great things about flavor. It's also a fun conversation starter with all those relatives visiting for the holidays! French Press Not into the pour over idea? How about a French Press? I looooove my French Press. I've also heard some people will ONLY drink coffee if it's made via French Press. I really like this method if there's only one or two people who want a cup of coffee. There's several options for a French Press that range in price. Though, I do recommend getting glass over plastic options! Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans Chocolate and Coffee?! What is there not to like? One of my co-workers usually sells these and bags of coffee around the holidays as a fund raiser for his daughter. I always buy two bags, but they never make it to Christmas! Personalized Mug No it's doesn't have to be the person's name, but it could be! One of my favorite coffee mugs was a gift from a friend. It's light pink with white polka dots and Pusheen the Cat's face. It's very Jenn. Think about what your recipient also likes or what kind of hobbies they are into. Yoga mugs, anyone? If you only know they like coffee, we have those too. ;) Bag of Coffee
I mean how could I not put this on the list?! I'd suggest based on your recipient you look for either a single origin coffee or get a little crazy and invite some fun holiday flavors. Another fun choice would be to order some of the legendary Cafe Du Monde coffee with chicory! DIY Coffee Gift Basket Looking for something a little bigger than a bag of coffee, but not as expensive as French Press? Snag a cheap basket from the Dollar Store (or bonus if you already have one somewhere!). Put in a bag of coffee, a mug, maybe some chocolate. If you know they take sugar in their coffee, throw that in too! Get super crafty and make some DIY creamer. All this coffee talk; I better go get a cup! - Jenn Rose Full Discloser: I am not paid for the promotion of any of these items, I just like them. :) Happy Shopping!
