First off, Hoping your Thanksgiving was lovely!! I thought it would be fun to do a little mini series relating to the holiday season! I'm going to include some fun gift ideas you can purchase and some you can DIY as a fun alternative. Not into these gifting posts? I'm only posting these on Fridays. Regularly scheduled inspirational musings will be posted on Tuesdays. :) Let's start off with those spiritual/new age-y friends. There's quite a few finds for them. Here are a few of my ideas. Price Point: $20 - $25 Range
Essential Oil Diffuser! Love, love, love mine. Amazon has had a few different models greatly discounted in their Black Friday flash sales this week. Bonus-adding some water vapor into that dry winter air. Essential Oils - While we're on the subject, you might as well add a few extra oils to your cart. My favorite starter oil is Peppermint. Good for headaches, upset stomachs and opening up your airways (in case of a winter cold/flu). Himalayan Salt Lamp. These are gorgeous. I received one as a gift a few years ago. The glow is very calming (and pretty!). There is some sciencebehind salt lamps; as they attract water vapor from the air, cleanse it and release those purified vapors back into the air. Fancy! Price Point: $10 - $15 Range Gift your friend a subscription box! This "Awakening in a Box" includes 3 stones/crystals each month and few other goodies. Buy them the first box (only $15) and let them decide if they want to keep it going monthly. How about some Oracle cards? Unlike Tarot cards these are quick one card readings that are usually easy to explain based on the type of deck. One I'm currently in love with is Gabrielle Bernstein's the Universe Has Your Back cards. Super pretty and easily understandable-no looking through lengthy books to figure out the meaning. Books! - Here are two that really made my 2017 kick butt. You know how much I loooove Gala Darling, so of course Radical Self Love is on this list. Maybe something a little less personal development? How about a crystal guide or some tips on astrology? Price Point: Under $10 Mix it up and order something custom from a small business seller on Etsy! How about one of these gorgeous Tree of Life pendants? Or these super cute Gingerbread bath bombs! Candles are always a win. I go through tea lights and taper candles like crazy! You can even dress them up a bit by anointing them with some essential oils you have on hand and maybe some glitter before gifting. A new journal is always a great gift, especially before the new year. Find a pattern or design that your spiritual friend would enjoy. Get something minimal or something that offers creative prompts. ;-) Next week, I'll have some DIY ideas for you! Happy shopping! - Jenn Rose |
