Weekly Class Descriptions:
Beginner Belly Dance
Mondays 7:05 pm - 8:20 pm
Interested in learning belly dance? Looking for a low impact exercise? Looking for a new dance style to fall in love with?
No experience needed belly dance class every Monday night. We focus on posture, technique,and fun dance drills. We will also mix up styles so you can get a taste of Egyptian style, American Tribal Style and Tribal Fusion belly dance styling.
Beginnermidate Choreography Belly Dance
Wednesdays 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
Somewhere between beginner and intermediate dancer looking to put your shimmy to work? "Beginnermediate" is just for you! In this class we will focus on combinations and choreography that will prepare dancers for performances.
Performance opportunities will be offered. There will be costuming requirements. (Prior participation in Beginner's Belly Dance class is required.)
Gentle Chair Yoga & Breathwork
Thursdays 4:30 pm - 5:30 PM
Chair Yoga offers modifications of many asanas, or yoga poses, often while seated in a chair. Yogis will work on flexibility and strength in this class.
In Yoga we call breathe work, pranayama or breathe of life. In this class we'll work on breathing techniques to reconnect to the body and find relaxation.
Slow Flow Saturdays Yoga
9:30am - 10:30 am
A Vinyasa style inspired class with a slower pace that allows the yogi to check in with their form, balance and breathe during every posture. We'll focus on micro-movements and work on flexibility.
Letting the day start slow, but feeling relaxed and recharged in the end. This class is great for beginners or anyone looking for a relaxing recharge.
Upon request private one-on-one lessons can be setup! Private sessions are held in studio and upon request can be scheduled based on availability.
